Today was sort of the end of the torture.

Geog over.
Econs over.
Chinese over.

Now, i left with maths...which i havent even started except for partial fractions (:
ha. in deep shit. argh.

anyway. the feeling of the end or nearing to the end of exams is totally great. Aly and i sort of went to enjoy even before the end of exams. today was a great day because i dropped from nyaa gold to silver and i feel so much better. something off my shoulders. i feel lighter. (:

ha. after chinese exam, we had nyaa briefing and then aly and i went to lido.
yah lido again for "WAR OF THE WORLDS". actually we wanted to watch 'alot like love' but then all of the cinemas started already...haix..some other time perhaps. maybe we are not fated to watch it today...yah

MOVIE REVIEW FOR WAR OF THE WORLDS.

The movie great. Superb. Fabulous.
I think this year...i have watched a few good movies.
Some of them would be House of Wax and Hide and Seek. (all these gruesome shows)
This 'WAR OF THE WORLDS' is something similar to 'THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW'.
watching these shows make me feel like the world is coming to an end.
But with such good endings...i feel better. because the lead characters always remain alive.

The show started like geography...like talking about the number of people in the world. Something like population geog.
But the show moved very quickly into the main topic.

Aliens invading planet earth.

It was so unexpected.

Tom cruise is called Ray...if i am not wrong..lol.
yah. he got 1 son and 1 daughter. The girl, called rachel is the girl who also acted in Hide and Seek. Wow. her acting is super great lah. for a girl who is so young...and yet she can act so well. i really admire her.

yah..so it started with lightnings strikes on earth. then it created a big hole on the ground..then all those UFOs started coming out from the ground. OMG. it was amazing lah.

It was totally freaky...and exciting throughout the whole show.
I was like biting all my nails. and stoning* (like wad aly wld say)...
haha. nobody scream. haha. i cldnt control lah. i think i did scream for some parts because it was too exciting.

but then besides all the running away from UFOs..and aliens...i think the movie has a good story line which is quite touchy...

"Can you sing me a song to sleep?"

"I am sorry...i dont know."

"Do you know how to sing....________?"

"I am sorry...i dont know..."

its quite a sad show. tom cruise did a very good job. when he had tears in his eyes..ah...i melt away..hah.

i love the show. omg. love it.

but come to think of it. if aliens really invade planet earth one day...would i be running away? or just let the aliens feed on my blood?

i dont know. i think everyone plays a part in helping to keep our world safe.

There are many environmental problems in the world. If everyone in the world can be more kind...and think about our environment and how our world is like...i think we can UNITE forces and FIGHT if the aliens from MARs really come and invade our PLANET.

THIS IS OUR PLANET. WE LIVE ON IT. SO, IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND GIVE IT OUR VERY BEST.

sometimes it is really hard to convey these messages to everyone in the world. i just hope that the aliens or wadever tat is...will not invade our world in the near future. :)

after reading the news on the kids hostage in cambodia.
i felt sad for the boy who died.
why kill a boy who is innocent?
why? why? why?
it was reported that the boy went to look for a book to read. but the hostages thought he was creating some trouble.
therefore, they shot him in the head.
in the head.
he died. the canadian boy died.
why?
i duno...i am just wondering..why kill the innocent people? the young especially.

it was fun after all.

the UH training camp 2005 lasted for 4 days 3 nights.
the theme was "coming together. working together."
we were divided into different patrols on the first day of camp.

i was posted to patrol 2.
in the patrol, we have joyce. joanne. xiao lee. sok boon. weiwei. yi xuan. me.
hah. we called ourselves 2gather. (: everyone in the patrol rocks.
really very friendly people.

the camp was fun.
we slept in bunks.
had food cooked for us.
had food served right to our tables.
had plates washed for us.
had 6 meals a day.

lolx. but of course..we had to take turns to be waitress. like serving the food. washing the plates. (:

we had lots of training sessions in olave hall. most of the time, we would be sitting in there listening to lectures.
i think i have gained quite alot from the camp. i have learnt how to manage the unit better. i have learnt how to do testwork better. most importantly, i have learnt that guiding is not quantity time but quality time. and we must always do our best to the fullest.

Mrs Mindy Peter's lecture was the best of all. she shared her life experience of being a cancer patient. and i was touched by how her guiding spirit made her live on. she is a role model that i would look up to. sometimes i really admire people like Mrs Peter. her guiding spirit is so wonderful. so strong. and yet still growing.

Besides that, i can remember eating 6 meals a day. after breakfast, we would have elevenses. after elevenses, we would have lunch. then after lunch, tea. then after tea, dinner. then after dinner, supper. OMG. fat. fat. fat. fat. fat. fat.
the food we ate was also ALOT.

but then we had alot of activities too. like captain's ball. morning pt. wide game. kims game.

overall...i think the campfire was the best part. i laughed..cheered. sang. (:
it was a good time to bond.

"Ostrich, gorilla, jellyfish...rabbit, turtle and elephant. ostrich gorilla ostrich. gorilla ostrich. ostrich. PENGUIN!"

hahaa. but quite sad lah. my patrol took alot of effort to do the campfire woodpile. but in the end..it was going to rain..so we had our campfire indoors. uncle gaz was our GOH. (:

sadly..the camp ended too soon. on the first few days..i was hoping that it would end soon (i did not study a single thing for my mye! ahh)...but on the last day...it was sad to leave each other. :(

nvm...we are UHs! we will Unite! Be Strong..we will come together and work together! UH 2005 ROCKS!

after camp on friday.
i was super busy.
i had to rush home to go for the energy autograph session.

i left my hse at abt 3pm. and reached harbour front mrt at arnd 3.55pm.
met jing han there. first time meeting each other. it was rather awkward.
but..doesnt matter lah.

make new friends..but keep the old..one is silver..and the other is gold. (gg song)

we thought that we were quite early. but when we went there...got quite a no. of pple alraedy. wa. haha. we had to queue outside the door. so hot. no aircon. but in the end..some pple moved up and i end up sitting inside the shopping mall. with aircon. lolx. haha. we sat there until our butts hurt. lol.

it was terrible waiting. but we did talk. so it wasnt so bad.
made a new friend. haha. she super nice. her name is catherine.
we waited until like 7pm. before the thing. i was quite urgent.
so i went to the toilet. then after that...i saw energy..just outside the toilet.
shit lah. i shld have brought my cam to the toilet lah. haix. but nvm.

hah. then the autograph session started arnd 7.15pm.
we waited till 10. 45pm then we got our signatures.
it was quite a long wait.
during our wait...we were quite scared that they will stop signing.
haha. but in the end we got it! yeh.

the happiness of being on stage with them was great.
all of them are so handsome...omg.
cant believe shuwei talked to me. niunai smiled at me. ahdi stoned at me. and kunda..haha
