Chingay 2006// Parade of Dreams

This year's chingay is definitely much better than last year's.
Because i did it with my classmates. close ones.
Last year's chingay i did it with council interns. The feel wasn't there.
Though there may be times that i felt sad during the chingay, i feel that i did enjoy myself overall.

Lets start from the beginning.
Day 1 (Friday):

After school we had to rush there.
But we took our own sweet time. haha.
The first day was quite boring because we didn't bring our secret weapon.
the camera.
We had to usher the VVIP to their seats.
It was quite fun doing it.
HAH. ): it was quite sad that we were all seperated into different grps.
but aly, sher and me stayed in one grp.
we start to panic whenever someone arrives with E008 and E009 tickets.
aha. nvm. i dont think u get it.

but the whole of friday night.
i was quite depressed la.
thankgoodness i had aly arnd.

u sat opposite.

(i don't want to say anything else. because friday night was really horrible watching u all the time)

u broke my heart.

i only went back arnd 1am that night.
i missed the last train. the last bus.
thanks to kaka's dad. haha. i got a free ride home.

i only slept at arnd 1 something.
woke up at 6am for guides.

after guides, went to pp for bubble tea and bought a Y.A clique keychain. HAHA.

met up with the rest of the girls at arnd 1pm.
then we went to cine for a movie.
'i not stupid 2' is really a very good movie.
thumbs up to jack neo.
i think he did a great job.
so great that DELICIA TAN can watch it 5 times. including today.

shawn is so cute lah.
alycia and i cried and laughed during the show.
it was so sad and touching.
haha. everyone cried. cept aly. haha.
haha. aly didnt cry coz she said i spoiled the atmosphere by laughing. HAHA.

cried till my sleves all wet lah.
so sad. (a pun?)

cool man.
so lame.
wadever.

after the movie we went to youth park.
changed. ate.
TOOK PICTURES.

it rained. we had to wear our ponchos.
haha. we took many pictures again and again.

after that we had to do our ushering job.
-cleaning the seats.
-covering it with plastic.
-putting goodie bags and fan underneath.

so all these are part of the ushering job.

the performance started and we all went back to our -taking pictures- mode.
haha. smiled at Mr President.
shook hands with the Minister of Education.
So cool. (:

after the whole event, we went back to youth park.
and signed out.
took many pictures again.
then went back to the paragon side for the street party.

then HOME.
im still tired from the whole thing.
emotionally drained, ________?
